Hostel Rules
Stay social, stay respectful. These rules keep the hostel a good place for everyone — including you.
Do not let strangers in
A stranger is anyone you don't personally know — regardless of what they tell you. If someone says "I have a booking," "I lost my card," or any other excuse, and you don't know them: do not let them in. There is a $5,000 MXN fee for letting in unregistered guests.
Passport required at check-in
A valid passport is required for all guests at check-in. No exceptions — photocopies are not accepted.
Lost access card
A lost access card incurs a charge of $250 MXN.
Check-out is at 10am
Failure to check out by 10am will result in the charge of an additional night.
Non-registered guests not permitted in rooms
Only registered guests may enter guest rooms. New guests cannot be registered after 8pm. There is a $3,000 MXN fee for not following this rule.
Don't switch beds without asking
Please do not change your assigned bed without confirming availability with us first — otherwise you will be charged an extra night.
Bookings are non-transferable
Your booking is personal and cannot be transferred to another person.
Free luggage storage until 5pm
After check-out, we'll keep your bags in a safe spot while you explore one last time — no locker, just storage. Need to come back after 5pm? Storage with one-time access is $150 MXN until 10pm.
Your bed is not storage for other people's belongings
Your assigned space is for your own belongings only. Do not store other guests' bags, items, or luggage on or under your bed.
Late flight or overnight bus? Get a Day Pass
$250 MXN — includes locker, towel, showers, coworking, and full access to hostel facilities until 10pm. This is the best option if you're hanging around after check-out.
No smoking inside
Smoking is not permitted inside rooms or hallways.
Quiet hours: 11pm – 8am
If you come in late, be respectful to guests who may be sleeping. Quiet hours are enforced between 11pm and 8am.
No strong-smelling food in dorms
Please avoid eating strong-smelling food inside shared dorm rooms.
Visits: 11am – 10pm, common areas only
Visitors are welcome in common areas between 11am and 10pm. Visits are not allowed inside guest rooms.
Lost or stolen property
The hostel is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
Damages and unpaid charges
The hostel reserves the right to charge any damages to the property and any unpaid portion of the bill to the credit card used to secure the booking.
Failure to comply with the above rules may result in cancellation of the remaining reservation at the guest's expense and/or penalty charges.
